Input Device  - An input device is a hardware or peripheral device used to send data to a computer.
                         An input device allows users to communicate and feed instructions and data to    
                          computers for processing, display, storage and/or transmission.

    The following images are examples of input devices:

SCANNER- These device allows a user to input photograph or document into the computer

WEB CAMERA- Takes video and inputs into the computer.

JOYSTICK- These device is used primarily for computer gaming.



 KEYBOARD- consist of a series of keys that can be pressed to input commands or letters.

 

Processing Device-  is any component in a computer that manages the storage and retrieval of information.

 

CPU- is the heart and the brain of the computer.

 

 STORAGE FOR COMPUTERS-  is any hardware capable of holding information either temporarily or permanent.

 

 Output devices- is any peripheral that receives data from a computer usually for display, projection or physical reproductions.

 

MONITOR- a device that displays video, images to the user, it is made up of circuitry, a screen, a power supply, buttons to adjust screen settings and casing that holds all of these components.

 

 

       PRINTER- a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the information to paper usually to standard size sheet of papers.

 

 

 



SPEAKERS- a hardware device connected to a computer's sound card that outputs sound generated by a computer.

MICROPHONE- is a device that translates sound vibration in the air into electronic signals or scribes them to a recording medium.
